About Me
Aimee Sickels is owner and principal evaluator for Custom Evaluation Services (CES). Aimee has many years of academic training across a wide array of content areas ranging from:
- Political Science
- Educational Leadership
- Educational Theory and Policy and
- Social Work.
In addition to the educational training Aimee has nearly eight years of community based “grass roots” evaluation experiences working with agencies sized from two full time staff to very large multi-year university based Department of Education grants.
Custom Evaluation services also has a unique relationship with United Way serving multiple local United Ways across the Carolinas and serving as one of six evaluation firms in the nation on a United Way Worldwide-America pilot project for Strengthening Families.
The evaluation areas of service for CES range from:
- Prisoner re-entry programming
- Children’s mental health
- Early childhood 0-5 systems of care
- Child abuse and neglect prevention and
- Arts and ballet companies
The diverse nature of the client base is what drives the success of CES. Every project is a new and exciting opportunity for us to use our skills, knowledge, and experience to build internal program evaluation capacity, spread the evaluation mindset, and increase funding opportunities for our client base.
